Police have been patrolling Winterbourne and Buckleberry after increased reports of hare-coursing.
An increase in illegal poaching and hare coursing reports has prompted police to increase patrols in across Berkshire and the Thames Valley area.
In a post on social media, an officer said: "We are seeing an increase in hare coursing across the Thames Valley area. Please report any incidents so we can identify hot spot areas
"Reports can be made via 101 online or 999 if in progress."
Last month, reports of a man with a firearm poaching in a field north of Reading led to a major police response with armed officers and a search helicopter.
