A delivery driver’s vehicle was seized after police discovered it was uninsured during their patrols.
Thames Valley Police officers from West Berkshire came across the driver when out patrolling in Newbury and Thatcham.
Officers posted their discovery on social media, stating that the provisional driver was reported without an insurance policy in place.
Social media users congratulated police on their work.
Rich weaver stated: “This is great to see , well done!
“Are checks routinely carried out to see if delivery riders have specific “ courier” policies in place , that allows the use of their bikes “ for reward “?”
Another suggested that police should check all delivery drivers for insurance policies and confirm when provisionals run out.
