Investigations into a public order incident are underway after a Gaza protestor disrupted the two-minute silence at a Reading Armistice Memorial Ceremony.
On Monday, November 11, officials from Reading Borough Council and a number of onlookers attended the event at Forbury Memorial to mark the end of the fighting of the First World War and honour war veterans.
As the two-minute silence began, a woman with a sign moved into the middle of the crowd disrupting the silence.
In a video recorded by the BBC, onlookers appeared distressed at the disruption.
A spokesperson for the force have stated that no arrests have been made.
They added: “Anyone with information should call 101 quoting reference 43240545539.”
