A care home is inviting the community to celebrate at its Christmas fair.
Care UK's Parsons Grange care home in Shinfield is holding the event on November 30 from 2pm until 4.30pm.
People will be able to browse various stalls selling items including crystals, jewellery, Christmas gifts, and cakes.
These stalls will be run by businesses and residents of the care home.
There will be food and drink on offer prepared by the care home's head chef including mince pies and mulled wine.
Rozina Ali, home manager at Parsons Grange, said: "Here at Parsons Grange, we’re already getting our Christmas jumpers on and counting down until the big day, which is why we’re excited to be kicking off the festivities with our very own Christmas market.
"We strive to play an active role in our community, and we’re delighted to be opening the doors to our neighbours to enjoy the festivities together.
"Residents are busy preparing their festive chocolate bark sweets and the event is a wonderful opportunity for them to reminisce over Christmas memories, share stories and meet new people.
"We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone for what we expect will be a lovely day for all. I can hear the jingle bells already."
Parsons Grange care home has been designed with residents in mind, featuring a café, hair salon, bar, and cinema for residents to enjoy.
