Two festive events are returning to the town centre this month to help residents get into the Christmas spirit.
Carolling and a light switch on is happening on Saturday, November 23 in Woodley Town Centre.
Residents can expect a Christmas carol concert and a Christmas light switch on.

The event, which will run from 4.30pm until 5.30pm, has been sponsored by The Good Companions, TradeMark, House of Cards, Wenzel’s The Bakers, Loddon Vale, and Woodley and Earley Lions.
On Sunday, December 4, The Woodley Christmas Extravaganza is also taking place in the town centre from 10am to 3pm.
The event will include stalls, singing, dancing, choirs and many other performances including juggling, beatboxing and talent dogs. Residents can also expect to see an appearance from the big man himself.
Stalls will open from 10am, following by an officially opening on the centre stage at 11am.
Performances will begin from 11.15am and continue until 2.30pm.

Residents have also been warned to expect ‘The Grunch’ who will be hiding in an around the event. [sic]
For these events, people can also benefit from free bus travel. Buses will also be free into the town for six Saturdays in the run up to December 25.
People can get to Woodley town centre on the orange 13 and 14 routes.
