Almost 600 driving offences were caught on speed cameras across Reading in October.
Thames Valley Police’s JOU Road Safety Mobile and Fixed Camera Speed Enforcement have released its monthly report from mobile and fixed camera installed around the town.

Reading’s mobile cameras ran for nine hours last month and recorded 66 offences. The fixed cameras ran for 3,079 hours and recorded 531 offences.
Writing about the cameras, a spokesperson for the force said: “Our road safety vans and fixed cameras provide enforcement and a visual deterrent across the JOU.
“The aim of the enforcement we carryout is to help support you reduce the speed of traffic, making the roads safer for all road users, and reduce the risk of injury collisions and casualties in your district.”
