With Christmas around the corner, people are being encouraged to recycle their old electronics.
As people look forward to new laptops, tablets, and other devices, an organisation is urging residents to think about how they can give their old gadgets a new lease of life.
Green Machine Computers, which has been recycling old computers for a while, collects redundant ICT equipment, refurbishes about 50 per cent of it, and then distributes half of this to schools and charities free of charge.
People can also have their old tech recycled responsibly, potentially benefiting schools and other worthy causes.
Devices can be dropped off at The Newbury Community Resource Centre at Hambridge Road Industrial Estate, Bone Lane, Newbury, RG14 5SS.
In the run-up to Christmas, the Green Machine team will be hosting pop-up shops at the Newbury Community Resource Centre, offering refurbished laptops and smaller computer accessories like keyboards and cables.
The pop-up shops will be open between Wednesday, November 20 and Saturday, December 21, on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, between 9am and 5pm.
