A Lambourn house with connection to anti-social behaviour and drugs has been partially sealed by order of a magistrates judge after a drugs warrant was undertaken by police.
The order of the house on Child Street, Lambourn was granted on October 18 by Reading Magistrates Court under Section 80 of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Disorder Act 2014.
Police applied for the order against the property following complaints from neighbours.
The partial closure prevents anyone other than the specified persons listed on the order from entering the property for a period of three months.
Officers from West Berkshire have said that this will give neighbours ‘a break from the behaviour associated with that address’.
Anyone who enters the house will commit an offence and would be liable on summary conviction to imprisonment, a fine, or both.
A post on their social media page said: “The Hungerford & Downlands Neighbourhood team will monitor compliance with the order at the address & will arrest anyone in breach of the order.”
