Reading FC legend Adam Le Fondre returned to Berkshire on Sunday for a question and answer event at the Purple Turtle.

The former striker, who was top scorer in all three of his seasons at Reading, was joined by former Reading manager Brian McDermott.

The pair delighted fans by reminiscing about the 2011-2012 Championship title-winning season and Reading's last Premier League season in 2012-2013.

Le Fondre, fresh from scoring for FC United Of Manchester in a 2-2 draw against Workington on Saturday, gave Reading fans an insight into what went on behind closed doors at the club.

This included a punch-up between Alex Pearce and Royston Drenthe.

The 36-year-old picked out his two goals in the crucial 3-1 win at Southampton during the 2011-2012 promotion season as his favourite memory during his time at the club.
