Police are advising children to travel in groups through woodland near Reading due to 'ongoing anti-social behaviour' that has seen one teen robbed of his bike.
The incident is reported to have happened in Sulham Woods on Saturday, November 16.
Thames Valley Police has increased patrols in the area.
In a statement, a spokesperson from the force said: "Police received a report on Saturday 16th November stating that a bike had been stolen from a teenager within Sulham Woods.
"Due to this incident we wanted to make parents aware so that they could speak to their children and ensure they try to stay within groups in the woods and have access to a phone if they need to call Police.
"Following this incident, and ongoing anti-social behaviour within the woods, you may notice an increase in Police presence in the area from the local neighbourhood team.
"Please feel free to approach us and speak to us if you have any concerns regarding this incident and encourage your children to come and speak to us if they have any issues."
