An international cat competition is heading to Newbury.
The 'Catstravaganza' will take place at the Newbury and District Agricultural Society on Saturday, November 30, and Sunday, December 1, from 10am to 4pm.
The event will see both pedigree and household pets vying for titles such as Best Kitten, Best Cat, Best Alter, Best Household Pet Kitten, and Best Household Pet.
The judging will be overseen by international judges, including the Vic Class judged by Steven Meserve, who will share insights about various cat breeds.
The competition will culminate with the Best in Show presentation at the end of the weekend.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage with exhibitors and well-known cat breeders, gaining insights into the feline world and viewing a range of cats up close.
The event's organisers, Loving Cats Worldwide, noted that the Catstravaganza offers more than just competition.
"Engage in conversations with exhibitors and renowned cat breeders," they said.
"Gain insight into their expertise, learn fascinating facts about the feline world, and see their beautiful cats up close."
The event invites all cat enthusiasts to join in, promising fun weekends and a chance to meet fellow cat lovers.
Attendees are reminded to ask for permission before touching any of the cats.
