Two schools across Reading have reopened after a burst water main forced them to make an emergency closure yesterday (18/11).
Bishopswood School on Grove Road in Sonning Common, and Sonning Common Primary School on the outskirts of Oxfordshire near Reading, were left without water.
Although Thames Water is still completing repairs to the large mains pipe, the two schools have had their water reinstated and have reopened.
The closures were due to a water supply issue, as stated on Oxfordshire County Council's list of school closures.
