Videos have captured a mass brawl following a match between Thatcham Town and Melksham Town.

The two sides met on Saturday, November 16, at the Melksham football club, which saw the Berkshire side suffering a 4-0 defeat against their Wiltshire opponents.

The match between the Southern League Division One South sides drew an estimated crowd of 529 fans.

However, ugly scenes were spotted not long after the match had ended, as clips on social media showed fans brawling outside Oakfield Stadium, in Eastern Way, Melksham.

A spokesperson from Wiltshire Police said a security guard had suffered an injury to his face during the fight.

The representative from Wiltshire Police said: "Officers responded to reports of a disorder outside Melksham Football and Rugby club just after 5pm on Saturday.

"A security guard, a man in his 30s, suffered from a facial injury while trying to break up the fight.
