Dozens of residents have come forward to share their concerns with a busy junction, many referring to it as an accident waiting to happen.
One concerned member of the public posted to Facebook after experiencing an alarming series of near misses.
They explained that for the third time in a week, they nearly had a head-on accident at the Boundary Road/Kings Road junction.
They had been headed eastwards and vehicles emerging from either side of Boundary Road junction pulled out without looking westward.

They continued: "The new roundabout at Hectors Way/Kings Road is also a hazard for those turning right away from town because the view is obscured and vehicles heading towards town on Kings Road cut the roundabout and go straight across without dropping speed.
"This entire piece of road is an absolute shambles, to be honest, and I wonder what the solution is to prevent it from becoming an accident blackspot?
"For now I will simply resort to pressing my horn to alert other drivers of my presence, but I can't imagine the residents will appreciate that."
Dozens of people took to the comment section of the post to also express their concerns with the hazardous junction.

Many members suggested that there is actually nothing wrong with the layout of the road, but instead, the manner in which people are driving.
One person wrote "The roundabout is a massive issue when you are coming out of the new road. People coming from the right drive straight across with no regard for those coming from the left... I've had so many near misses!"
Another person responded "Nothing wrong with the road layout, people just need to learn to drive.
"The idea is to slow down as you approach a roundabout, so you can see what’s coming to the right before you decide to pull out onto the roundabout."
However, others did suggest that some things do need to be done to improve the traffic system on this busy road.
One person said, "The roundabout needs to have curbs, I've had two near misses pulling out to go right where those coming towards town tank on through over or wrong side of the painted roundabout."
In agreement with the previous comment, another person said "Maybe a no-entry sign is needed at the roundabout in replacement of the ‘one way’ sign? Just an idea."
A further person wrote, "The single lane section of Kings Road should now be made residents only and the blue sign with a white arrow pointing that was should be removed."
