West Berkshire Council has postponed a community forum due to the cold and wet weather.
Temperatures have dipped as low one degrees in parts of Berkshire this evening, following a day of drizzly showers.
A community forum was set to take place to discuss the cost of living, flood prevention, and winter preparedness.
The event was due to take place at Hungerford Town Hall at 6.30pm.
A spokesperson from the council said: "We are conscious of the current weather situation and have taken the decision to postpone tonight’s Community Forum that was due to take place in Hungerford.
"This will be rescheduled in the very near future as an online Forum. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause."
