A Berkshire leisure centre has announced that it will be getting a major refurb to enhance the health and fitness experience for residents.
Kennet Leisure Centre is a popular sports facility located on Stoney Lane near Thatcham.
The upgrade is set to start in December and will include a complete overhaul of the gym with redecoration, new flooring and state-of-the-art equipment.
The studios, including the indoor cycling room will be modernised for customers who take classes in the centre’s studio spaces.
A full revamp of the squash court is also scheduled for January.
Due to the work that is taking place, there will be a temporary gym closure for two weeks from Monday, December 2 in order to complete work.
A spokesperson from Everyone Active said: “During this time, members can use Northcroft Leisure Centre’s facilities. Classes will continue with minimal disruption!
“Stay tuned for updates on the refurbishment progress, or contact our team for the latest information. We can’t wait to unveil the improvements!”
