Multiple trains between Reading and Gatwick Airport have been cancelled today (20/11).
National Rail has announced that because more trains that usual need repairs between the two stations, a reduced service will run on the line.
Disruptions are expected to last until the end of the day.
A spokesperson from National Rail said: “When a train is cancelled Great Western Railway will try and get the next train to call additionally at the stations the cancelled service was supposed to call at.
“Please speak to the guard of your train if you require further assistance or use the station help points.
Customers have been advised to check journey times and trains before leaving home as some trains have been cancelled or revised.

They added: “You may be entitled to compensation if you experience a delay in completing your journey today. Please keep your train ticket and make a note of your journey, as both will be required to support any claim.”
