A school in Reading has been called 'remarkable' and 'exemplary' in a recent Ofsted inspection that graded it as 'Outstanding' in all areas.
All Saints Junior School, in Brownlow Road, was inspected in October this year, with inspectors finding it offered pupils 'a rich set of experiences' that ensured they became 'global citizens'.
In the Ofsted inspection report, an inspector said: "Pupils excel at this kind and nurturing school. They become knowledgeable ‘global citizens’ who love to learn and debate with their peers. Pupils achieve so highly because of the exceptional teaching and support that they receive.
"Behaviour is exemplary here. Pupils are joyful, kind and respectful. They welcome new pupils to the school with warmth and positivity. Classrooms are industrious places where pupils are expertly guided by staff."
The report added: "This remarkable school provides all pupils with a rich set of experiences to ensure that everyone develops the life skills that they need to ‘be ready to fly’.
"Attendance is high because pupils love coming to school."
The school, which is part of the Anthem Schools Trust, supports 94 pupils.
Even with the high achievements, staff workload is 'considered thoughtfully'.
The report added: "Expertise is focused on excellent teaching and support for pupils.
"Parents and carers are, rightly, full of praise for the school and the brilliant start in life that their children receive."
Schools are graded on quality of education, behaviour and attitudes of staff and pupils, personal development of children attending, and leadership - with All Saints rated as Outstanding in each area.
Headteacher Susannah Daniel was also in charge of the school when it received its previous Ofsted rating, which found the school was Outstanding in all areas in 2013.
The previous inspection found that 'the majority of teaching across the school is outstanding and never less than good'.
Since September 2025, single-word assessments of schools have been scrapped, following the death of Caversham Primary School headteacher Ruth Perry.
