Police have seized a dog as it is suspected to have been used in a hare coursing incident.
Hare coursing is the pursuit of hares with greyhounds and other sighthounds, which chase the hare by sight, not by scent. It is illegal in the UK.
Thames Valley Police's Rural Crime Taskforce wrote online that they seized the dog on Wednesday (November 20).

Enquires are ongoing to establish the owner.
The force wrote: "PC Akers seized a dog today as it is suspected to have been used in a hare coursing incident. Enquiries are taking place to establish the true owner.
"If sufficient proof of ownership isn’t provided then the dog will be re-homed.
"The rest of the day was spent patrolling areas where recent hare coursing activities have been taking place."
