A pedestrian has potentially suffered 'life-changing injuries' after getting hit by a car at a busy junction in Reading.
Just after 10.45pm on Wednesday, November 20, a dark estate vehicle was travelling in the direction of Reading along London Road, near Cemetery Junction.
The car was then involved in a crash with a male pedestrian, who was taken to hospital with serious injuries where he remains at this time.
Following the incident, a 31-year-old man from Reading has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving, failing to stop at the scene of a collision and driving without insurance.
Investigating officer PC Ben Taylor of the Roads Policing Unit said: “I am appealing to anybody who witnessed this collision to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.
