Three new pubs, restaurants and takeaways have been issued new food hygiene rating after inspectors visited their establishments last month.
The Food Standards Agency conducts inspections of eateries on a regular basis to make sure their premises and hygenic food practices are up to standard.
This holds businesses accountable and also makes sure that customers are kept safe.
During the inspections, inspectors can rate the business from zero to five depending on what they find during the inspection.
It is then posted on the food standards website and made public for anyone to see.
Here are the three restaurants, pubs and takeaways who were issued new ratings in October.
• Rated 4: Walkabout/KTown/FlusterCluck/Locked&Loaded at Wiston Terrace, Reading; rated on October 20
• Rated 3: Brewdog at 11 Castle Street, Reading; rated on October 20
• Rated 2: Ye Babam Ye Kebab House at 231a London Road, Reading; rated on October 18
