A fast-food burger chain has won permission to keep on selling food and drinks until 5am each day.
The Burger King at Reading Gateway is situated at a convenient location along the A33, near Junction 11 of the M4.
The franchisees of the burger chain have won permission to continue operating overnight from 11pm to 5am each day thanks to a decision by Reading Borough Council's licensing department.
The application was granted on the condition that food and drinks sales can only take place from the drive-thru from 11pm, with the dine-in area being closed.
The internal area currently opens at 9am and closes at 10pm Monday to Thursday and 10.30pm on weekends.

The decision means that the Burger King at Reading Gateway is the latest to operate in the area.
The Burger King location in St Mary's Butts open to the public 9am to 10pm each day, with deliveries continuing 30 minutes after that endpoint.
