The government has issued its latest flood warnings across the county, with a considerable number hitting Reading. 

There is even a chance of property flooding, so residents should keep up to date with the alerts. 

The full list of flood warnings for Reading and surrounding areas are as follows: 

Flood alert for River Lambourn and its tributaries from Upper Lambourn down to Newbury

Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels remain high but have started to stabilise on the the River Lambourn.

Therefore, flooding of low-lying land and roads is expected to continue today Monday, November 25. 

Flood alert for River Pang from East Ilsley to Pangbourne and Sulham Brook

Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels are rising on the River Pang as a result of heavy rainfall at the weekend due to Storm Bert.

Therefore, flooding of low-lying land and roads is expected today especially in the Tidmarsh and Sulham areas. 

Flood alert for River Kennet from Thatcham down to Reading

Property flooding is expected. A flood warning is in force for the River Kennet at the Burghfield, Southcote, Coley and Holybrook areas.

River levels remain very high as a result of heavy rainfall from Storm Bert. Therefore, flooding of property, low-lying land and roads is expected to continue today. 

Flood alert for River Enborne and Foudry Brook

Property flooding is not expected. River levels on the River Enborne and Foudry Brook remain high, but have now stabilised.

Therefore, flooding of low-lying land and roads is expected to continue today. The forecast is for a largely dry day today. River levels remain sensitive to further rainfall.

Flood warning for Properties closest to the River Kennet at the Burghfield, Southcote, Coley and Holybrook areas

Property flooding is expected. River levels are rising on the River Kennet as a result of heavy rainfall from Storm Bert.

Therefore, flooding of property and roads is expected to continue today especially in the areas closest to the River Kennet in Burfield, Theale, Calcot and Reading, including properties on Burfield Street. 

Flood alert for Lower River Loddon at the River Thames confluence at Twyford

Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels are rising on the River Loddon as a result of heavy rainfall over the weekend from Storm Bert. Therefore, flooding of low lying land and roads is expected today. 

Flood alert for River Thames for Shiplake, Lower Shiplake and Wargrave

Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels are rising on the River Thames as a result of heavy rainfall over the weekend from Storm Bert.

Therefore, flooding of low-lying land and roads is expected to continue today especially in the Shiplake, Lower Shiplake and Wargrave areas.
