Trains between Reading and Newbury have been cancelled for a second day following flooding during Storm Bert.
On Monday, November 25, Great Western Rail announced that the lines between Reading and Newbury were blocked due to flooding.
Although promises that the issue would be resolved by the end of the day, trains are still cancelled between the two stations.
A spokesperson for National Rail said: “Due to ongoing damage caused by storm Bert, platforms 1 and 3 are closed at Newbury station.
“As there is now only 1 platform available at Newbury, Great Western Railway are having to reduce the number of trains they run to Newbury station in order to prevent further delay to your journeys.
Trains that run direct between Newbury and London Paddington will not run. Local stopping trains between Newbury and Reading, and Newbury and Bedwyn will still run.
Although trains between Reading and Newbury are cancelled, high speed long distance trains that call at Newbury will still run.
