A neighbourhood policing team has been honoured with a Community Safety Award.
Chief Inspector Tompkins and Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) received the accolade, sponsored by Acre and Utulivu.
Thames Valley Police have an a neighbourhood policing team in each neighbourhood.
Each team is dedicated to working with the community and partners to prevent and reduce crime and disorder.
They aim to make communities safer through an approach that is focused on visibility, engagement, problem-solving, and community resilience.
The teams are led by senior police officers and include police officers, PCSOs, police staff, police support volunteers, and special constabulary.
