A popular pub that has just opened under new management is serving its customers award-winning roasts - and the reviews speak for themselves!
Husband and wife duo Rich and Sam Grant became managers of The Maltsters Arms over the summer, and the pair have seen choc-a-bloc Sunday bookings since taking over.
Mr Grant, who is a third-generation pub landlord, said that his Sunday roasts won a prestigious award a few years prior, and he and his wife are hoping to scoop the same title in 2025.

"When Brakspear does their annual summer awards next year we are hoping to win the title for Best Sunday Roast again," Mr Grant said
"It's probably the tightest competition for that award, but we are getting a name for ourselves around here now. It's been so well received by locals."
The pub, which is situated in Henley-On-Thames, boasts dozens of five-star reviews on TripAdvisor, many of which solely reference the high quality of the Sunday roasts.

One happy customer said "Probably the best Sunday roast I have tried. The beef is served as picanha, a top of rump, tender and pink as it should be. But the real star of the show is the lamb.
"Apparently the lamb is seasoned and slow-baked overnight. With subtle but meaningful hints of garlic and rosemary, it has the vibe of Southern Balkan and Greek specialties while preserving the traditional feel of the Sunday roast."
Mr Grant went on to say that he feels that the roasts he serves now are actually better than the ones he cooked up when they won the award back in 2017, so he is hopeful that The Maltsters Arms will win the title.
The pub serves four options for Sunday lunch. They do both a skin-on chicken supreme and a roasted salmon fillet.
"We also do a roast rump cap called a 'picanha' which is a Brazilian cut of beef," Mr Grant continued.
"It has a lot more flavour than sirloins or other cuts that other places may do, no one else is doing it.
"Our real star is the lamb shoulder though. It's cooked for 14 hours overnight and all the veggies are served family style."
Plenty of other reviewers have raved about The Maltsters Arms Sunday roast, clearly cementing it as a firm favourite with locals.
Nearby resident Lee Williams recently gave the pub a five-star rating and shared the following words about him and his family's experience dining there.
"The very, very best Sunday lunch that we've ever had," Mr Williams said.
"We were celebrating Christmas early and were treated to a magnificent seasonally decorated table, followed by the very best service banter and feast."
