A defibrillator has gone missing after it was needed in a local park.
On the Facebook group Supporters of Albert Road Park - SARP, a spokesperson has come forward to say that they are currently trying to locate the defibrillator so it is obviously not in use.
They said "We have been notified the defibrillator in Albert Road Park was needed to treat a patient yesterday.
"The ambulance service is currently trying to track the defibrillator down. The machine travels in the ambulance with the patient when they go to the hospital.
"While we try to track the device down the machine has been removed from the Circuit and is naturally unavailable for use."
They went on to say that there are other machines nearby and they will do all they can to bring it back in service once they have retrieved the machine and obtained replacement parts.
