Reading Buses announces 'significant delays' due to traffic chaos (Image: nq)
Reading Buses has been repeatedly posting online numerous delays to their services.
The delays come as traffic in the town centre is moving very slowly due to road closures caused by the recent flooding.
Reading Buses announced on X, formerly known as Twitter, that Due to heavy traffic in and around Caversham services 22, 23,24, 25, 25a, 27 & 29's are experiencing delays of between 15 7 25 minutes.
A spokesperson posted the following statement:
"There are significant delays across the Reading Buses network because of congestion. We apologise for any inconvenience."
