Residents in Reading have been left low pressure or no water at all due to a possible leak in the area, according to Thames Water.
The interruption to water supply is affecting customers in the RG7 postcode areas this morning.
In an announcement posted at 6.50am, the company said it was 'sorry' for the outage and that engineers had been onsite where a burst has been located.
In a statement, a representative from Thames Water said: “One of our engineers has found a burst in Beech hill road, which is causing the problem. Now we have found the issue we are investigating how to repair it.
“We know how inconvenient it is if you lose your water supply, so we’ll work hard to get things back to normal as soon as we can.”
