Police have conducted a thorough foot patrol in Whitley following an increase in anti-social behaviour in the area.
Several closure orders were put in place within properties across the area to help with safety within the neighbourhhood. During police patrols, officers made sure to check these and make sure that no-one was flouting the orders.
Hot spot areas for ASB and drug use/dealing were also checked by neighbourhood police.
A spokesperson from Thames Valley Police said: “Reassurance given to Co-op in Whitley Wood, following an arrest of a prolific shoplifter.
“We then attended the Safer Neighbourhood forum at The Holiday Inn.”
