The Reading Chronicle has opened this online book of condolence to bring together tributes to an 18-year-old Reading man, Fintan.

The body of a missing university student has been found in a river in Oxford.

Fintan, who was a student at the University of Reading, is believed to have been found near Osney Mead, Oxford on Tuesday, December 3.

Officers from Thames Valley Police, with support from Lowland Rescue Oxfordshire, stated that they 'believe it to be missing person Fintan who was reported missing in Oxford on Wednesday, November 27'.

He was originally reported missing when he failed to return to his halls.
