AUSTRALIAN opener Blake Hogan-Keogh struck a Berkshire, Mid Bucks and Chilterns League Championship record score of 202 as champions-elect Harpsden beat Ley Hill by 89 runs, writes Richard Ashton.
The prolific batsman struck 37 boundaries and two maximums during his 132-ball knock, sharing an opening stand of 240 with Adam Birkett (67) as the hosts declared on a massive 336-2 after 42 overs.
Ley Hill were then reduced to 49-5 as Abdul Khaliq (3-27) and Stefan Franklin (3-74) got to work, but spirited innings from Jack Thompson (74 from 42 balls), Chris Morris (51 from 47) and skipper Ben Moultrie-Ford (48) ensured they reached a respectable 247.
Amol Tyagi blasted a stunning 133 not out from 94 balls as third-placed Checkendon beat the side one place above them in the standings, Holmer Green, by 72 runs.
Opener Manpreet Singh added 50 as Checks posted an imposing 266-5 from their 45 overs, and despite James Salter (50) and Jake Gumb (41) leading Holmer Green to 87-1, they fell away against the off spin of Rama Adigantla (5-49) and were eventually bowled out for 194.
West Reading gave their survival hopes a significant boost with a 47-run victory at fellow strugglers Ballinger Waggoners.

The hosts' chase was not a completely smooth affair, but they eventually reached 107-5 after 24 overs.
