BERKSHIRE League side Mortimer West End unfortunately saw their game against the touring Singapore Cricket Club abandoned after 22 overs due to heavy rain last Friday.
By that stage the visitors had made their way to 114-4, Nick Kingston and Andy Johnson both with a brace of wickets for West End.
However, despite the disappointment of an early call-off, club chairman Jason Searancke said it had been a memorable day.
He commented: "The village of Mortimer West End were thrilled nevertheless to be able to host an international touring side, enjoying the good company and spirit of the Singapore visitors throughout the day, despite the poor weather."
