Reading FC boss Mark Bowen admitted he was full of pride following his side's 3-0 win over Luton.
Goals from Michael Morrison, Ovie Ejaria and Garath McCleary gave the Royals a fully deserved victory over the Hatters after an authoritative display,
The win gave Bowen's side 10 points out of a possible 12 under his tenure and the Welshman explained he was delighted with the manner of his side's triumph.
He said: "Before the game started I was banging the drum about winning the game and not worrying about how we get the points.
"It finishes off a nice month for us and the points are important but now I am sitting here full of pride for the manner we won the game in.
"People say that Luton weren't good but I am a great believer in they are as good as you let them be.
"We married the two sides of the game right, when you have got the ball and when you haven't got the ball and the most important thing for me is I know, with the talented players in this squad, we are a force for anybody."
McCleary came off the bench to score the all-important third goal to seal the deal and Bowen praised the midfielder for his impact since returning into the set-up.
He added: "I am delighted for him.
"I brought him back into things to get the feel good factor back and I see him in training every day and he shows such professionalism.
"He is never sloppy, he does things right and I am trying to say to my players that they earn the right to be in my team and get on the pitch if they work hard.
"If they are not and they are just relying on a Saturday, then they better be very good on a Saturday because if you are not, then you won't be in my team."
