Reading will have a new executive next month, according to reports in Brazil.
Alexandre Mattos, who has previously worked with three Brazillian sides, America, Cruzeiro and Palmerias, will take over when he receives his visa.
Mattos will be tasked with overseeing Reading’s relationship with owner Dai Yongge other sides in Belgium and China when he takes over in the role, according to the reports.
Pedro Lourenco, Cruzeiro’s chief executive, told otempo.com.br: "Alexandre has accepted a proposal from England, but will help us over the next 60 days in this transition we are making."
Reading are expected to appoint Mattos into a sporting director role, after appointing former sporting director Mark Bowen as manager in October.
