Former Royals forward Pavel Pogrebnyak has been hospitalised with bilateral pneumonia having been diagnosed with coronavirus, his wife has confirmed.
In a statement released on social media, the former Reading striker's wife confirmed that he remains in hospital where he is continuing to receive treatment for Covid-19.

It is understood that although Pogrebnyak had initially suffered minor symptoms, his condition worsened and developed into bilateral pneumonia over the weekend.
Pogrebnyak currently plays for Russian Premier League club FC Ural Yekaterinburg, who confirmed his initial diagnosis on Friday.
