Reading FC are in the hunt to bring former loanee Pele back to the club.
The Reading Chronicle understand that the club are working on a deal to bring the Monaco midfielder back to the club, after a successful loan stint last season.
It is thought that Reading are keen to bring Pele back in on another loan deal, however his parent club would rather him leave on a permanent transfer.
#readingfc are lining up several offers this week. Ones we know of already include Riquelme and as reported elsewhere this morning, Braga winger Fabio Martins.

And..... they’ve paved the way for Pele to return too.
Pele isn't the only transfer target that the club are working on.
In his post-match press conference yesterday evening, boss Veljko Paunović confirmed that he is optimistic about bringing in Athletico Madrid youngster Rodrigo Riquelme as the club look to strengthen their creative options.
The 20-year-old has been 'around the team' in recent weeks as the club look to secure his signature.
Braga winger Fabio Martins is another player who is thought to be on Reading FC's radar.
Martins had an impressive campaign last year for the Portugese outfit, scoring 12 and picking up five assists in 29 appearances.
