Here are our player ratings from Reading's 1-0 home win over Wycombe Wanderers in the Championship.
Rafael - 7
Produced a good stop late on to deny Onyedinma a late equaliser. Quiet evening otherwise.
Tom Holmes - 6
Defended well and matched Wycombe's physicality but was a little slow to get the counter attacks going at times.
Liam Moore - 7
Provided a number of impressive long balls forward, including one which was subsequently finished by Lucas Joao. Kept the defence organised as Wycombe piled the pressure on late in the game.
Michael Morrison - 7
Complimented Moore's defensive work well and again was very reliable at dealing with aerial challenges.
Omar Richards - 7
Showed fantastic fitness as he kept driving forward in the latter stages. Produced a couple of really nice deliveries into the area and defended competently.
Josh Laurent - 6
Improved as the game went on after a bit of a slack first half. Full of energy again.
Andy Rinomhota - 6
Was a little wasteful in possession in the first half but did well to break up the play, especially in the closing moments.
Michael Olise - 6
Showed some wonderful close control and touches but struggled to consistently cause Wycombe problems.
Ovie Ejaria - 8
Gave Grimmer a lot of headaches with his control and got into some excellent positions on the left-wing. But for some better positioning from his teammates, he could've had a few assists tonigh Finishing needs a bit of work.
Yakou Meite - 4
Got into some good positions driving down the line but didn't do an awful lot in terms of creating chances. Missed a sittter in the first half.
Lucas Joao - 7
Won the game for Reading with a fantastic goal, but was far from at his best in the first half. Looked a little off the pace - but recovered really well.
SUBS
Tomas Esteves - 8
A really good cameo from the bench for the debutant. Was energetic, looked to drive forward whenever he had a yard of space and drove at the Wycombe defence. Defended really well and drew important fouls.
Alfa Semedo - 7
Looked skillful and purposeful in possession and helped Reading push forward on the break.
Tom Mcintyre - N/A
Didn't feature for long enough for a fair rating.
