Speculation is mounting over the possibility of a new name for the Madejski Stadium.
It is understood that the club is exploring the possibility of sponsorship of the name, after 23 years as the Madejski Stadium since the ground opened in 1998 following the move from Elm Park.

The stadium was named in honour of former chairman Sir John Madejski.
But Select Car Leasing, the club's main sponsor, has been linked with further investment in the club by putting their name to the stadium.

Reading have faced mounting financial issues with the EFL confirming last week that the club is under a transfer embargo.

No official announcement on the possibility of a name change has been released by the club.
But fans have begun discussing new potential names for the ground on social media.
Should have been called New Elm Park.. Bit will still call it the Mad Stad..
