After the excitement of Saturday's 2-1 win over Cardiff City, the Championship takes a back seat during midweek as Cup action returns to RG2.
League Two outfit Stevenage, who also came back from behind to win in the league on Saturday, are coming to town- with changes likely.
Speaking after the game, boss Paul Ince said: "We’re down to the barebones and we have to try and respect Stevenage. We have fans coming to the ground paying good money to see us win and if you can keep that winning mentality it helps. We haven’t got anyone coming back soon but we have to respect the competition."
With that in mind, here are four players who will potentially see some action on Tuesday.
Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan
19 years old, over six foot, the striker is a handful. Brought on in the final 10 minutes on Saturday, the manager was full of praise for his tenacity and enthusiasm.
With his only other Royals appearance coming at this time last year, a 0-3 defeat to Swansea City in the same competition, it is likely that the teenager will play a larger role.
10 goal contributions for the Under-23s last season shows he has talent, it will be interesting to see how he does against wily fourth tier stars.
John Clarke
A summer acquisition from Port Vale, the 18-year-old impressed staff and supporters alike during a pre-season cameo over the summer.
Not hanging around, the teenager made his Championship debut on Saturday against Steve Morison's side and helped see the game out at the end.
A left-field arrival, he could have a promising Royals career if his early showings are anything to go by.
Rashawn Scott
Another regular in the youth set-up last season, Ince gave the midfielder his first team debut last campaign on the final day of the season against Luton Town.
Not content with one match, the 18-year-old jumped straight into the car and played in the Berks and Bucks Senior Cup final at Slough Town just hours later.
A tricky wide man with an eye for goal, the former Chelsea player evidently caught the eye of Ince last season- perhaps he will have a more prominent role this time around.
Kelvin Abrefa
The first Kelvin to enter the pitch on Saturday, full-back Abrefa played 25 minutes against the Bludebirds.
Full of energy and running, at times some might say over-exuberance after picking up a yellow card, the 18-year-old managed to make three Championship appearances last season for the Royals.
A Ghana youth international, he is another who featured regularly for the Under-23s last season and during pre-season over the summer, signalling that Ince thinks a lot of the Italian-born teenager.
