There are currently three former Blackburn Rovers in the Reading squad, with Scott Dann; Lucas Joao and Junior Hoilett playing a combined 211 matches for the Rovers before moving to Berkshire.
Over the last two decades, five other players have played for both sides- with former Royals coach Steven Reid also playing 134 times for the Ewood Park outfit.
Here are five players to have played for both Blackburn and Reading.

Zurab Khizanishvili
The Georgian international played more than 60 times for Rovers after leaving Scottish giants Rangers in 2005, however he was sent out on three separate loan spells- including two to Reading.
Playing 15 times at the back end of the 2009/10 campaign, Brian McDermott brought him back for the entirety of the 2010/11 season.
He appeared 22 times as the Royals reached the Championship play-off final, with the international centre-back giving away a penalty in the defeat to Swansea City at Wembley.
Not returning to Berkshire again, he saw out his days in Turkey and eastern Europe before retiring in 2017.
He is currently the Georgia Under-21 assistant manager.
Jason Roberts
An icon in Reading, Roberts played more for Blackburn than any other side in his career.
After more than 150 games in Lancashire, he arrived in RG2 in January 2012 where we scored four and set up five in his opening eight fixtures, all of which the team won.
Reading were promoted that season and the-then veteran had notched six.
Scoring in the Captial One Cup the following season, a hip injury blighted his time in Berkshire and he was forced to retire in 2014 after just 29 appearances for the club.
Hope Akpan
A surprise signing, the Liverpool-born midfielder was signed from League Two Crawley Town as the club were fighting relegation in the Premier League.
Unable to help keep them up, he became a regular over two seasons in the Championship- leaving in 2015 having made over 60 appearances.
Moving directly to Blackburn, he played 66 times for Rovers in two seasons.
Moving down the pyramid since leaving Lancashire, spells with Burton Albion, Bradford City and SJK in Finland, he now plays for Widnes in Northern Premier League Division One West.
Nick Blackman
Playing three times for Blackburn between 2008-2012, it was with the Royals where Blackman saw the most success.
Moving south from Sheffield United, the midfielder made more than 100 appearances for Reading in four seasons.
He was best known for a pruple patch in 2015, scoring 13 goals in 28 starts and encouraged Derby County to splash a reported £3.5m on the Mancunian.
Scoring just once for the Rams, he saw his career revived abroad, with clubs such as Maccabi Tel Aviv and Sporting Gijon.

Danny Guthrie
Someone with over five years of Premier League experience, the midfielder joined in an attempt to keep the club in the top-flight in 2012.
A controversial character around the club, he was a first team regular until 2014- leaving with 69 appearances.
Joining Rovers, similar to Akpan, in 2015 he played just 44 times before moving to Indonesia and then Walsall.
He was recently in the news for going bankrupt.
