Newcastle winger Garang Kuol has been unveiled as a Hearts player for the remainder of the season.
The Australia international, who appeared for the Socceroos in the 2022 World Cup,was linked with a move to Berkshire this month- but the financial restrained have proved a stumbling block.
18-year-old Kuol, formerly of Central Coast Mariners, officially joined the Toon on January 1 but has moved out on a temporary move to pick up experience.
Fresh from scoring twice, and gaining three assists, for Central Coast Mariners in the Australian A-League, Eddie Howe revealed that he wants the teenager to gain more experience.
Not only catching the eye at club level, he featured three times for the Socceroos at the 2022 World Cup, becoming the youngster player in the knockout match since Pele in 1958.
Hearts, one of the two big Edinburgh clubs, sit third in the Scottish Premiership, 14 points behind Rangers and 23 behind leaders Celtic.
