Reading are set to sign Chelsea youngster Cesare Casadei, according to reports.
Paul Ince has made it clear that he would like to bring two midfielders into the club before the deadline, with former favourite Josh Laurent targeted for a return also.
Casadei, joining the Blues from Inter Milan, is set to arrive with a big reputation, voted the highest-rated prospect born in 2003 by The Guardian.
An Italian Under-21 international, and costing the London club in excess of £15m, it is thought that he will join for the remainder of the campaign.
It has been reported by MailOnline and Fabrizio Romano that the deal will be done within the next 48 hours.
