Reading Academy graduate Aaron Kuhl has left Berkshire non-league side Slough Town to join upwardly mobile Dorking Wanderers.
The 27-year-old broke through at Reading in 2014 and appeared semi-regularly under Nigel Adkins until injury struck and he was released in 2017.
A popular figure at Arbour Park, he had multiple spells for the Rebels in recent years- most recently a prominent star in midfield under Scott Davies in National League South.
Dorking, a club with over 25,000 social media followers due to a YouTube series they take part in called 'Bunch of Amateurs.'
Founded as a Sunday League side in 1999, manager Marc White has taken them from the Crawley and District League to the National League, currently embarking on their first ever fifth tier season after last year's promotion.

Speaking on the move, White said: "'Aaron is someone we ear-marked as able to be part of our new journey for this season. Having only been promoted in tantamount June of last year, we were unable to do the usual recruitment we would normally do. Aaron was someone on our shortlist of targets at that time, and we are delighted to finally get him on a long term deal.
"Aaron is someone who arrives with a great deal of pedigree having played in the Championship for Reading. He was once on the radar of Patrick Viera during his time as Director Executive at Manchester City.
Aaron is a combative player, physically strong and we think he will be a great addition for us."
If anyone deserves this itβs you @Aaron_Kuhl π Good luck mate, weβll all be watching from afar and wishing you well. https://t.co/pZHeeZEmVz

Kuhl, son of former Academy coach Martin Kuhl, added: "I'm delighted to be joining Dorking, such a great club. So grateful to be given the opportunity to play in the National League again. I can't wait to get going and look forward to getting involved in the coming weeks."
Already with a strong Reading connection, former Academy keeper and Berkshire cricket captain Dan Lincoln keeps net for Wanderers.
