Paul Ince has made three changes for the trip to Sunderland, including recalling former Newcastle United striker Andy Carroll.
The 34-year-old Carroll saw red against Manchester United in the FA Cup and sat out the 2-2 draw with Watford.
He partners Shane Long up top, both experienced internationals.
Naby Sarr and Amadou Mbengue come into the backline alongside Tom McIntyre.
Sarr, previously injured, replaced the injured Tom Holmes, while Mamadou Loum begins his two-match suspension after picking up 10 yellow cards.
