Reading boss Paul Ince has urged his side to pick up points against Rotherham United tomorrow, citing their home form as a positive.
The Royals have one of the best home records in the division, losing just three times at the SCL Stadium.
Fresh off the back of a disappointing defeat at Sunderland, matches against the 20th-placed Millers and 21st-placed Cardiff City offer Reading the chance to pick up points against teams below them in the Championship table.
Looking ahead at the busy week following defeat on Wearside, Ince said: "There’s a long way to go. Home form is good but our away form has been not so great. To come here and put in the performance we did has to give you some positivity. Our home form is good and that’s where we need to pick up our points.
"After today we have some games where we can pick up some points. Nothing has really changed in the table; we are where we are. No point being doom and gloom, it’s tough to lose. It took the players seven hours to get here on the coach, that’s a long time. I’m really pleased with the boys attitude, especially in front of the tough crowd. We refresh, move forward and go into Rotherham."
