Reading midfielder Tyrese Fornah admitted he 'shed a tear' after scoring the winning goal against Rotherham United.
The youngster on loan from Nottingham Forest spent time in the Royals' youth set-up, growing up alongside vice-captain Tom Holmes in the Academy system.
Getting onto the end of Andy Carroll's flick on, Fornah's stoppage time winner turned the game on it's head after Paul Ince's side fell behind in the first half.
Speaking on the moment his second Reading goal hit the net, the 23-year-old admitted he got emotional.
"It was quite an emotional moment, scoring that late winner,” Tyrese said. “I think I shed a tear!
“I’m just really glad to get the winner for this club. Just to be out there scoring goals in the Championship; that’s what I dreamt of as a kid. It’s a dream come true to be scoring goals as a midfielder.
“It’s a big moment for me. That’s what I want to be doing every week, but it’s not been happening as regularly as I’d like. I believe in myself and I’m always positive. Whether I start or not, I hope that my ability shines through on the pitch. Hopefully now I can be trusted to start more games week in, week out."
The Londoner has already admitted that he would like to return to the club over the summer, however he is still contracted to Premier League Nottingham Forest beyond the summer.
