Cadiz midfielder Alex Fernandez surprised TikTok star Laurence Benson in a video, with the online sensation unaware he played for Reading.
Benson, with over two million followers on the app, has travelled the world with foods for footballers to try- most of which has a kick to it.
Whilst in Spain, Benson visited Cadiz and linked up with midfielder Fernandez for a video.
Posting it on their social media, the 30-year-old surprised Benson with his English before revealing that he played for the Royals- the club Benson supports.
"Yes it’s good [my English], I used to play in Reading. Once a Royal always a Royal! I was there six or seven years ago with [Brian] McDermott. I was there- I didn’t play too much. It’s very nice. This is for Royals fans."

Signed on loan from Espanyol for the 2015/16 campaign, the Madrid native scored once in 10 appearances.
Despite not featuring too regularly, Royals supporters took to the friendly Spaniard for his enthusiasm and social media presence.
At Cadiz for five years, he still interacts with Reading fans on social media to this day.
