Former Reading defender Tyler Blackett has joined Rotherham United until the end of the season.
Joining Reading back in 2016, the Manchester United Academy product was a regular until his departure in 2020- playing over 100 times.
A favourite of Jaap Stam, the former Royals boss took the defender with him to FC Cincinnati in 2021 after a short-lived spell with Nottingham Forest.
The Millers sit 18th, eight points clear of the relegation zone, under Matt Taylor.
Only playing in Berkshire recently, Reading came from behind to win 2-1 last month.
With 11 games remaining, the South Yorkshire outfit will be looking to stop the habit of being immediately relegated back to the third tier.
Fellow former Royal Sean Morrison joined the side in the summer, however he is now missing for the remainder of the season.
Formerly of Celtic, the 28-year-old could make his debut on Saturday against former loan side Birmingham City.
