Blackburn Rovers will be without midfielder John Buckley for their clash with Reading.
Sustaining an injury in Friday's 3-2 defeat to Stoke City, the 23-year-old is to miss the rest of the season.
He has played 28 times this season as the Rovers sit fifth, three points inside the play-offs.
They are also deep into the FA Cup, with a win against Sheffield United taking them into the semi-final at Wembley.
Speaking on the injury, boss Jon Dahl Tomasson said: "We’re very disappointed for John because he’s had an excellent 2023, he’s worked hard and developed how we want to play, the new way we want to play.
“We’re disappointed for the lad because he deserved more after working so hard to get back in the team. It’s disappointing for him and for us."
Paul Ince, returning to his former club, is set to be missing a number of key performers- including the likes of Andy Yiadom and Mamadou Loum.
However, the hosts have the likes of Bradley Dack and Daniel Ayala on the sidelines.
